A question for educators

A question for writing teachers. When a student submits work you suspect wasn't produced by them, what would actually be useful to you?

A probability score from a classifier. Or a timeline showing what happened during the session: when they typed, when they pasted, when they used AI, and what they decided to do with the output.

These are different questions. One produces a number to justify a referral. The other produces evidence to support a conversation.
