What a TWFF file contains

Most AI transparency tools claim transparency and produce a score.

A TWFF file is a chronological event log: edit blocks with character counts and timestamps, paste events with character position, and AI interactions with the model name, a preview of the output, and what the writer decided to do with the suggestion.

The Colophon log viewer reads these files as a timeline. No score. No classification. A record of what happened, owned by the person who wrote it.

The format specification is open, Apache-2.0, and free to implement in any writing environment: github.com/Functional-Intelligence-Research-Lab/twff. The viewer is free and requires no account: colophon.firl.nl/viewer.
